Donald Trump and his White House are seeing some very serious claims against them today. Yesterday press reports started to surface that Trump and his team shared secret intelligence reports with Russia. The intelligence came from a close US ally and detailed ISIS operations. One national security adviser says the claims are false, “I was in the room, it didn’t happen”. The meeting, which was with Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov, was supposed to have taken place in the Oval Office the day after FBI director Comey was fired. The information that was reportedly shared was very sensitive and considered extremely valuable.
FINSUM: If this is true it could be very damaging to Trump. However, it is both unclear whether there is veracity to the story, and just how bad the situation could become.
